Hey everyone,
It might be counter intuitive to reducing the population, but we founded this organization in order to help the greater good. The COVID-19 pandemic has finally come to our home town and people are making poor choices because they are scared. Grocery items are becoming scarce.
Starting this Saturday, Pop Control is joining up with Alternative Athletics to form a "Zombie Apocalypse Supply Depot." If you have extra quanities of any essential non perishable food, product or toiletry, bring it down and we will exchange it for anything that we already have in house. We don't know what we will have available, or what people will need, so we are relying on the generosity of society to share the extra they have, to help each other.
If you are shopping and happen to have a chance to pick up a second package of something you think might be useful such as rice, or a gallon of bleach and are willing to donate it, we will make sure it gets into the hands of those in need.
No money will be exchanged for items, and nothing is free. Bring something to get something.
Tax deductible monetary donations will be taken for Pop Control a 501c(3) dedicated to helping people make permanent decisions to reduce reproduction.

"Unlike plagues of the dark ages or contemporary diseases we do not understand, the modern plague of overpopulation is soluble by means we have discovered and with resources we posses. What is lacking is not sufficient knowledge of the solution but universal consciousness of the gravity of the problem and education of the billions who are its victim." |
"Overpopulation and overconsumption underlie every environmental problem we face today." “The ecological crisis, in short, is the population crisis. Cut the population . . . and there aren't enough people left to do a great deal of ecological damage.” |
Pop. Control is a not for profit organization (503c) dedicated to empowering individuals who have made the decision not to bring any more children into the world. We accept monetary donations and pass the donated funds along to pay for permanent sterilization (vasectomy or tubal ligation) for those above the age of 18. We use no income or socio-economic criteria. As long as the individual is healthy enough to have the procedure, meets our age criteria and has made the decision, we will pay for the procedure.
There are many reasons that people make the decision to choose permanent sterilization. Many have already had one or more children, and simply want a permanent and nearly fail-safe method of birth control. Some individuals feel that their particular circumstances make them unable or unwilling to care for a child. Others feel strongly that the root of many of our world's problems lie in overpopulation, and do not wish to contribute to the population boom. Our organization does not judge an individual's reasons. We simply provide the opportunity to have permanent sterilization at no cost to the individual.
